MOSAiC taking shape!

> The Alfred Wegener Institute has announced that it will provide the Polarstern as the drifting icebreaker for MOSAiC! This is great news for the MOSAiC research community as Polarstern is a world-class research icebreaker that will serve as an ample platform for coupled-system science.
> The U.S. Department of Energy Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Program has agreed to provide one of its Mobile Facilities (AMF2) for MOSAiC. This facility includes state-of-the-art, ground-based atmospheric remote and in situ sensors for observing clouds, atmospheric thermodynamic and kinematic profiles, surface fluxes, aerosol properties, and more.
